We were able to travel by train for a few legs of the journey as we didn’t want to miss that experience. We travelled in a Honda hybrid air conditioned sedan. Prabath is the Real Deal - accept no imitations!

From his knowledge of Sri Lanka, to the coconut and fruit smoothies stops to his immaculate car and outstanding service; we would highly recommend Prabath to any of our friends or family in the future.

While he advertises himself as a driver, this word does not accurately describe Prabath's incredible service.

You may find when you arrive at the Airport in Colombo, you will be accosted by many taxi companies offering you a driver for less than $50 a day. Do not take them up on this offer and stick with your original choice which I hope will be Prabath.

It may be best to reach Prabath by WhatsApp or call him via Skype. He is very accommodating in working out a good trip for you in Sri Lanka. Contacting him via WhatsApp or Skype will make this easier than email.

As you will discover, not everywhere in Sri Lanka speaks English and so having Prabath at this stage was invaluable. This especially when one shop gave me the wrong change by about half of what they were supposed to.

Prabath took us to the best curd and King coconut stops, helped us with finding a launderette and helped us with a guide at the Temple of the Tooth.

We worked together for a few weeks via WhatsApp and email working out the best route to drive around Sri Lanka which paid dividends.

I cannot recommend to get in touch with Prabath enough and discover the beautiful country that is Sri Lanka!

After the troubles in April and a very lean time for this lovely country I decided to visit once more. ... See more /> I was not disappointed. As usual my friend Prabath took me to places that only he knew about and some that even he had not visited before, but had been recommended by his friends.
New temples, new hotels and a beautiful villa/bungalow deep in the heart of its own tea plantation.
There was lots of security wherever we went but, sadly, hotels and restaurants still not at full capacity.
SO COME ON BRITS, please support this lovely country and its people.
It has not lost its magic and people like Prabath deserve our support.

He speaks good English, he is honest, very knowledgeable and most importantly of all he is a very safe driver. His car is super comfortable with efficient air conditioning which is a must given the climate in Sri Lanka. We made contact and corresponded with Sudath via email and he always responded very quickly making it clear how much it would cost for his services, which were very reasonable. He gave us good advice about what we should include in our tour and we took him up on his offer to arrange our accommodation in Negombo, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya, Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Ella, Wellawaya and Yala. Every property was clean and comfortable and we certainly had no complaints for $30 dollars a night (on average). One of the highlights of our whole trip was the stay at the Kingdom Eco Lodge in Wellawaya which a Sudath arranged. Such an amazing experience which we will never forget. Sudath has a wide network of contacts throughout Sri Lanka so he was able to set up Jeep safaris and temple tours with some great guides. We learned so much about Buddhism and Sri Lanka whilst Sudath was driving us around. He is also very knowledgeable about the wildlife which became obvious one afternoon when he took us for a walk around Habarana Lake. He knew my husband was interested in the different types of birds so he pointed out all the different types as we wandered along.
